Follow below instructions to apply for GATE Scholarship 2012-13. [Common for 2011 and 2012 batch]
- Click on link: http://www.aicte-india.org/
PGScholarship.htm. There are 3 steps to complete this [Try to access with Internet Explorer]
- Get your Institute ID [Step 1 from site]
- Change the IE Security setting as bellow.
- Internet Options -> Security Tab -> Click on Internet -> Security Level for this Zone (Make it Low)
- Un check option 'Enable Protected Mode'.
- Restart IE
- Press and Hold CTRL key while clicking 2nd Step, this will install 'Siebel high interactivity framework' automatically. [We have try 2 or 3 times for the proper installation]
- Try to generate student id, details should match exactly the same information updated by the college. [Step 2 from site]
- If Students are not able to generate student id, college has an option to pull the details from AICTE web site along with student id.
- Now click on Step 3 [ from site]. If the above mentioned installation is proper we will get a screen asking details like, State, Institute ID, Student ID and DOB, then fill the necessary details as given in below step 8, and skip below step 7.
- If the above installation is NOT proper the site will ask for User ID and Password, [Try Several times to get the proper installation] OR else we have another way to complete 3rd step i.e we need to login with college's AICTE ID and password, same can be done only from authorized office staff member of college.This ID and password will not disclose to students.[Most of students from our college completed this Step 3 with the help of college]
- Following are the Details required to complete 'Step 3' all are Mandatory .
- Institution ID [ from Step1]
- Student ID [ from Step2]
- Date Of Birth
- Gate Reg No
- Gate Score
- Gate Year
- SBI A\C No
- Branch Name
- IFSC Code
- Mobile 1
- Mobile 2\Land Line
- E Mail 1
- E Mail 2
- Scanned copy of GATE Score card
- Scanned copy of SBI Passbook i.e page containing A\C no, IFSC Code, photo etc. [Format not specified you upload these files in JPG or PDF].

Good..
1.Is that possible to give father's state bank account details or we need to open new state bank account.
2.when is the last date for online submission.
3.when we can get the scholarship amount after submission.

1.I Think we won't able to give father's SBI account, since they are asking us to upload passbook details.
2. As per our college last date was 15th Jan 2013.
3.No idea when we will get this, last year we got scholarship in June 2012(2011 batch).
4. Now i made some changes to this post,I.e we can do this our self pls go through once again.

last year we got scholarship in June 2012(2011 batch). Since this time onwards its through bank accounts so we can expect little early..
Do any one has got stipend into their bank account(2012-13).plz let me know....Thnks

thanks alt for all information. i had applied for this scholarship through my institute before the last date. but unfortunately there was a mistake by them i.e data entry error, they did not mention the validity of my gate score which is '2014'. please let me know how to edit that one. we had tried many times but there is no option to edit. please help me.
@kumar abhishek, I have no idea how to solve this. Ask ur college to send a mail to AICTE stating the same.
hi i am suvendu from national institute of science and technology berhampur,odisha last month i got a mail from AICTE that my attendence has been approved for gate scholarship starting from july to december,but i am yet to get the stipend ,can anybody help me in this regard or give some idea it will be a great help from me
hi.. I'm from 2012-2014 batch and i haven't received any amount from AICTE, neither it has been received by people who filled form along with me. However the 2013-2015 batch has received the amount. Is anyone having any info about why such thing has happened?
My application says that my bank ifs code does not match with the pass book. In this case can I change the bank details of the application by any means?
